Beautiful Game

After dominating the five-time World Cup champions in the first half, the Americans were powerless as Brazil scored three goals in the final 45 minutes to rally for a 3-2 win. Brazil know all about winning major trophies, crowned world champions five times and this is the third Confederations Cup victory.

No doubt about the samba power but I'm impressed with the US team. They are competitive, tactical and very physical team. It shows, when they beat Spain in the semis...

Back to our shores, according to FIFA standing in June 2009, we were ranked #159 compared to Thailand (116), Singapore (134) and Indonesia (138). The nation #1 sport still failed to produced good result despite the introduction of many formats by the governing body...or was it a trial and error approach... if that's the case...there's a long way to go...
